Hey! Welcome to the easy daily pilates movement course. I'm so excited that you have joined this course.

Course pacing

This course can be done at a pace that feels comfortable with you. That could be doing a lesson everyday, or spacing it out a more and doing a lesson every few days.

The most important part is to learn to check in with your body.

Mat

One of the advantages of mat-based pilates is that the only equipment you need is a pilates or yoga mat. For the mat, try to get one that is at least 6mm thick and length and width of about 183 cm x 61 cm. The thicker the mat is the more comfortable it is but it will then take up a little more space when folded up.

If you don't have a mat and want to get started, make sure you are on a softer surface otherwise some of the exercises will feel a bit uncomfortable.

Clothes

Comfy exercise clothes are a must, make sure the clothes are stretchy, not to hot or cold and that you feel ready to exercise in them. I would also recommend doing the exercises barefoot. That is a great way to feel grounded.
